『books』 #19for2019

I thought about doing this for a while and decided to try it. I decided to pick books that are sitting on my shelves for several years now, and I still haven't gotten to. When I listed the first book of a series it actually stands for the whole series/ trilogy. Some of these I was really excited about, some of these I only read the first book (can't remember much anymore) and never continued on. I really hope that this will help me to finally get to these books. 

『books』 Bookish Highlights of 2018

This isn't going to be an exact "Favourite Books of the Year" post, because I am certain I'm not able to decide on that. So I chose my highlights out of all 29 five star rates on goodreads. I read 71 books in 2018 and gave a five star rating to only 29 of them. But another 27 books got a four star rating on goodreads. I didn't really keep track on half star ratings, usually I write them down in the comment/ review section in goodreads.

『personal』 Highlights of 2018

The year is almost over and I thought I put out a few of my personal highlights of this year. 2018 was neither very good nor very bad to me. It was just there and I was just living along the lines. Nevertheless I had some very precious times I wouldn't like to miss.

These are (more or less) in chronological order.

『personal』 THINGS I NEVER TALK ABOUT

I'm still alive and I still intend on blogging, even with my long long absence. I just didn't feel like writing at all and I still feel very uncreative. I'm just a lost cause when it comes to consistency. That's why I decided to write about something else than usual. I decided, as the title already says, to write about the things I never talk about. I guess, I have a lot of these bundled up and sometimes they just need to go. I'm the person who always is willing to listen to everyone and everything, but actually never talks about anything. So I'll try and let some things go now.

1. Do you have a favorite Winter read? 
I don't have a favourite read for any season. I just read what ever I want when ever I feel like it.
I choose books based on my mood not on any events, holidays or seasons.

『blogmas』『MOVIE EVENT』2017 / 10 / 12 ~ WE ARE X & YOSHIKI Q&A

12th October was the day of the screening. For me it was a rather long day. Had to get up early, went to work (luckily uni hadn't started yet), headed home to get something to eat and freshen up a bit. Afterwards I hurried to the cinema. Luckily it's only about a 15 minutes walk to the IMAX at Potsdamer Platz, where the screening took place.

『JULY BOOK HAUL』More new books for my overly full shleves~

Another month another book haul.

I don't know how I did it, but somehow I acquired nine printed books, six e-books and three audiobooks during July.

For August I want to try to not buy books, except I already pre-ordered them. I hope I can do this. The only thing I'm allowed to buy, except pre-orders are the next volumes in a Manga series, but only when they get released in the month, so no already released volumes, even though I don't own them yet.
