The year is almost over and I thought I put out a few of my personal highlights of this year. 2018 was neither very good nor very bad to me. It was just there and I was just living along the lines. Nevertheless I had some very precious times I wouldn't like to miss.

These are (more or less) in chronological order.

『personal』 THINGS I NEVER TALK ABOUT

I'm still alive and I still intend on blogging, even with my long long absence. I just didn't feel like writing at all and I still feel very uncreative. I'm just a lost cause when it comes to consistency. That's why I decided to write about something else than usual. I decided, as the title already says, to write about the things I never talk about. I guess, I have a lot of these bundled up and sometimes they just need to go. I'm the person who always is willing to listen to everyone and everything, but actually never talks about anything. So I'll try and let some things go now.

This was my first Lolita meet up in a very long time. I went to the Tea Party in Hamburg last year and the one in Berlin this summer, but I never had time to join a meet u since spring last year. 

『blogmas』Japanese Christmas Market

Last week end (12/03-12/04) was the Japanese Christmas Market at Arena Berlin. It's the third time this year and I went there every year so far. I really love the idea of the christmas market. It's still growing and expanding and the people behind it still have to learn from the past experience, but all in all it really is nice there. 

31 Days of Blogtober ~ A wrap up!

Remember when I announced that I'm going to do "31 Days of Blogtober" this year. I failed so hard. I only got thirteen posts out there and I didn't really felt that motivated to exhaust myself with blogging every day.

Started the day with looking for an internet cafe because I needed to print my online tickets. Found one near King's Cross. After that I made my way to the Tower of London and this time I visited it. I'm so glad I did it even though it was the coldest day of the week, windy and raining.

09/08/2016 Buckingham Palace, Westminster Abbey & Houses of Parliament

I started the day early again and had planned to go see the Buckingham Palace. I arrived at Green Park and took a rout through it to get to the Palace. It was such a nice walk and I had luck with the weather. Finally there was a blue sky, nearly clear of clouds but quite windy and still warm.

Outside of the atrium was a lot to discover again. The first thing I saw was the bust stop for the Knight Bus and the Knight Bus itself. So huge and in my favourite colour. So awesome to see it in person.

My third day in London was a very Harry Potter day. Since the opening of the Harry Potter WB Tour London I wanted to go there. Some years ago there were parts of the exhibition in Cologne and I went to see it, but that wasn't the same at all. The Harry Potter WB Tour London is way bigger and it feels so much more like Hogwarts. I was really excited to go and it was so good.

Luckily I planned everything beforehand and also looked up the way there which was quite good, because my tiny travel there was a bit messy as always when I go by myself. 

I walked to Euston Station, bought something to eat and made my way to find the right train. This time I had to take the Overground to Watford Junction and from there the special shuttle bus to the WB Tour Location.

Finding the Overground could have been easy but as always I stood right in front of it and didn't see it. Well I got to the right train in time and while traveling there I finally ate.

『The new Year 2016』 New Years Resolutions ~ Vorsätze für das neue Jahr

It's not that I follow the things I set up at the beginning of the new year but I can at least try and see what I think I should do and what I will do over the year.

Es ist ja nicht so, dass ich unbedingt den Vorsätzen folge die ich mir am Anfang des Jahres mache. Es ist eher so, dass ich mal schauen möchte was ich davon umsetze und was nicht.

『2015|12|24 - 2015|12|26』 Christmas & Christmas gifts ~ Weihnachtsfeiertage & Weihnachtsgeschenke

Christmas eve is the day we celebrate christmas in Germany. In the morning my dad and I finally put up the tree and decorated it while my mom started to prepare a few things for dinner. Later on my little sister and her fiancee joined us.

First thing to do in the morning was to open the last door on the advent calendars. I got a christmas tree, a new nail polish colour and Yoda.

I wish all of you a very HAPPY NEW YEAR and hope that all of you had a very merry christmas. Hopefully all of you had some nice family-time and nice holiday in general.

For me it was the first time relaxing and sleeping in, just doing nothing, except a bit of homework and studying since October. If you didn't know it, I started to study East Asian Art and Japan Studies in early October. Ever since then I hadn't really time for myself nor for the blog. While I didn't plan on any resolutions I hope that I'll be able to manage my studies and writing my blog again. I also plan on reading some more this year.

Also I plan on catching up with some post, like concerts, my travel to Japan and the Harry Potter exhibition in Cologne, and preparing some book reviews. I hope I come up with some I actually like and will post. I know I shouldn't be so strict with myself, but I tend to ignore my own advice.

『20014|05|16 - 20014|05|17』A Princess' Birthday PART II

Part I


I decided to celebrate my birthday one day after my actual birthday. Since it was a saturday I knew everyone had off work and mostly time to celebrate with me. ^^

We met around 14:00pm at S Charlottenburg, because I had planned to go to JStore and do プリクラ  I LOVE プリクラ. ♥︎♥︎♥︎ Well, it came other as planed, because Riki was late. She was late, because her train wasn't scheduled as normal and so we decided, or mostly I decided to wait for her. We waited until 14:45pm and while waiting I was allowed to unwrap the first presents. ^o^

From Jetty I got another Thalia gift card, which made me so endlessly happy. Nothing's better than books and music. XD" And I also got some chocolate bar with caramel inside from the UK. ^^

And I got my beloved イチゴ Pockys from Tay. *^* Gosh, I LOVE these so much and I think everybody knows this by now. XD"

When Riki finally arrived we headed to the JStore. First we looked around a bit and than it was finally time for プリクラ ! ! ! ! ! 

 I hadn't done it in a while and I think it's always so much fun to do it.  But it was a bit difficult to fit all four of us in there, because all of us aren't really experienced with it. XD" Well, only I and Riki did some before. So it was a bit of a mess to get all of us in the pictures. 

But nevertheless it was fun as hell, especially decorating the puris. ^^ I love that. hehe

Finished with it we left and went back to the train station to get to S Hackischer Markt. I wanted to go there to get some yummy cupcakes.

It was quite a bit of a strange journey there, because the Sbahn suddenly drove onto the siding and we were still inside the train. All of us swear that no one told us beforehand, that the train would end at S Zoologischer Garten. We than had to wait five minutes to get back to the platform and change trains. 

A bit later as expected we arrived at Hackischer Markt and made our way to Café Grünohr.  It's a cafe  based on the Katjes Grünohr gummis and it serves selfmade cupcakes.

We ordered our cupcakes and drinks and had a yummy cupcake party. ^^

After that I unwrapped the last presents and we cut the puris, so everyone can some of each sheet. ^^

I got Devil from a foreign Land Vol. 1 & 2 by Kaori Yuki. ^o^ Sooo happy about that, because I wanted to read that. ^^ 

We left quite a mess at the table. XD

It's always so hard to decide, because all of them look so yummy.

The interior and the candy bar where you can buy different sorts of Katjes I ♥︎ Veggie gummis. 

Some more tables and places to sit down. It's a very small cafe and mostly lives from the takeaway service. But it still has such a nice ambient and a gute interior. Everything is held in lime green and a soft pink with a touch of retro. Especially the pictures have a touch of retro to them. 

I like that the cupcakes are selfmade and they even offer a wide range of beverages. A lot of juices and limo plus the typical things like coffee or tea. 

I love the concept of selfmade cupcakes for takeaway and the chance to even sit down inside. It's small and cozy, but you should definitively check it out.

We spend quite a while there and just chatted around loudly as always. XD The ladies are never calm, always giggling around. XD 

When I got hungry again I decided it was time for the final stop and to get something real to eat. We hadn't to walk that far, because I decided we should go to eat mini pizza or even regular sized pizza. XD" It's a small pizzeria which offers a wide range of different dishes. Most of us went for mini pizza, which is by the way one of the most awesome pizzas ever. We decided to stay there to eat our dinner. And again we talked a lot and enjoyed our food. ^^ 

When we finally where finished we decided to take a walk to accompany Tay and Riki to the right tram. In the End me and Jetty walked back again to go home as well. ^^ 

I have to say I had two wonderful and fun birthday days and that I was a great idea from me to go take ぷりくら. XD"

『20014|05|16 - 20014|05|17』A Princess' Birthday PART I

On 16th May was my birthday and lucky as I am I had no exams this day. I was able to sleep in and get up veeery well. My mom took off work and both of us had a nice morning.

I wasn't allowed to open any present, because we waited for my dad and sister to come home.

While waiting I got dressed up a bit and put on my make up. Both of them had off earlier then usual and came back home around two o'clock.
We than had yummy yummy selfmade cake and I got a lot of birthday candles. ^^

After we had cake I was finally allowed to unwrap all my presents. *^* My sister was the first one who gave me the presents.

I got the latest Tinkerbell movie on DVD. I love Tinkerbell movies so much! ♥︎ I also got the first book in the Across the Universe trilogy by Beth Revis. I'm sooo excited to finally start that trilogy. ^o^

Also got some of my most favourite chocolates. *^*

After that I finally was allowed to unwrap the presents from my parents. ^^

The super expensive present was my one and only Mrs. Paperwhite. ^o^ I have to add that I always said I won't need an e-reader, but after I discovered that some novellas or companion novels are only available as ebooks I decided to go for it. And I have to say it made my life so much easier. Especially my purse is so light now. ^^ I always carry something to ready with me and this makes it a lot easier. I mostly go for special deals and have tones of classics now, because they were for free. 

I also got a new tea cup. I love these double thingies. ♥︎

Something that made my little heart jump was this self made voucher from my mum which was for a visit to the cinema to see the new Tinkerbell and the Pirate Fairy movie. *^* 

And I got some yummy nougat. *^* I love this too much. I just could live with only nougat in the world. ♥︎♥︎♥︎

I got some cards from family and friends, too. In one of the was another gift for me. It's a gift card from Thalia, a big book store chain. I was sooo excited about it. ^o^

After we were finished with the cake and all the presents were unwrapped my sisters boyfriend came. I also got a gift from him too. A lovely gift card from Kiko.

Later in the evening we went to eat out. I was allowed to decide and we went to Makoto, a Japanese restaurant, to have some ramen and other things. Soooo yummmyy~~~~ 

  

After we had something to eat we went for cocktails and we had quite a good time and a loooong night. ^^ 

We were in the near of U Oranienburger Tor but decided to walk back all the stations until U Wedding. All in all it's only four stations, but it was a looong walk. Especially when four of them were a bit drunk and I was the only one sober. XD Guess it's my own fault for not wanting to drink alcohol, but it was still kind of funny, a bit annoying but funny. XD"""
