『BOUT OF BOOKS 17』 Sign Up

Time has come and Bout of Books 17 is almost here. I'll plan to participate and try my best again. I need to get some serious reading done. I'm around 7 books behind on my goodreads reading challenge for this year and I plan to catch up. As always it's going to be hard, because I have to work and on the exact weekend I'll be out of town for my sisters bachelorette party. Hope I'll manage to read at all. Wasn't that good of a reading year for me so far. ^^"

『READ-A-THONs』 A week of READ-A-THONs ~ Eine Woche voller Lesemarathons

There are four read-a-thons this week and I thought I try and combine all of them. To be honest I'm not sure how to manage this, because uni started again and I'm working in between as well. But I thought I try it out and get some reading done right at the beginning of the year.

Final thoughts:

  • I read as much as I never did before in one week.
  • Mangas do it for read-a-thons.
  • I think I would never have made it through all the challenges when I wouldn't have included mangas.
  • I'm glad I read some books I didn't plan on reading so soon.
  • I still don't like classics. They just don't do it for me.
  • Forever in love with Neil Gaiman books. Don't ask me why.
  • Because of the BOOKTUBE-A-THON my july wrap up get's huge.

Wrap up

Books completed:
  • Fracture Me
  • The One - Kiera Cass
  • Fyre - Angie Sage
  • Unravel Me - Tahereh Mafi

Total pages read: 1086

Goals archived:
  • reading throughout the week ✓
  • finishing the "Shatter Me" trilogy + the novellas
  • finishing the "The Selection" triolgy ✓
  • finally finishing "Fyre" (the thing is I just don't want this series to end XD") ✓
  • maybe one book from my tbr box

My thoughts:
While I only archived three out of five goals and had to do an adjustment in between I'm super happy I was able to finally finish Fyre by Angie Sage and that I continued on with the Shatter Me trilogy by Tahereh Mafi. Had to do one adjustment to my Bout of Books tbr, because I suddenly received my copy of The One by Kiera Cass and I had to read it as soon as I got it. So with that I completed two series and nearly finished with the Shatter Me one too. I completed three full books and the rest of Fyre, which means I read a lot more in one week as I normally do. I think I could have come farer if I hadn't to study for my last exam (and hadn't birthday in between XD), but since school is the most important at the moment it's totally okay that I "only" read this much. All in all I had a lot of fun and I would love to do it again. ^^

『read-a-thon』Bout of Books 10.0 sign up

Thought about participating in this one. I still have to do my goals list and I think it's going to be a little hard, but I just won't put too much on there. Still have to prepare for viral history exam. Which is kind of annoying. But still, school's counting the most the last few weeks. ;__; I'll be so glad when everything will be over. Soon~

One week of reading, with my birthday in between should be fun and kind of relaxing. haha That sounds like it'll be no stress concentrating on the reading. XP

Btw, my April wrap up should be following soon and I'm writing on heidi. in Cologne. So be prepared for another super long post. ^o^
