『books - T5W』Top Worlds/ Author Blurbs on a Book

Top Worlds

Well, let me think...

The Wizard World - Harry Potter - J.K. Rowling
Who wouldn't want to live there and visit Diagon Alley or Hogsmead.  I really wish I could wander the streets of a peaceful Wizard World at least one time.

Middle Earth - The Lord of the Rings/ Hobbit - J.R.R. Tolkin
I totally want to see the world and travel by horse to see a lot of it. Visiting Elves or just sitting around, chilling and eating with Hobbits. Maybe getting through some small adventures. That would be some great holidays. ^^

Shadowhunter World - TMI/ TID - Cassandra Clare
I actually would love to see Alicante and even the Bone City. It must be so interesting to visit there. I think I wouldn't be a Shadowhunter and do all the action parts of live. I just want to visit there as a tourist and learn something about the history. Maybe having a nice little talk with Magnus or so.

Inkheart World - Inkheart trilogy - Cornelia Funke
I would love to see the Inkheart World. Not while it get's destroyed or something, but to experience some nice litte adventures or just getting to know a world which was original created for a story.

Author Blurbs on a Book (When an author blurbs something great that ends up quoted on the cover or back cover of a new book)

I had too look through nearly all my books to find some blurbs, because I never really pay attention to them. It was quite a hard time finding some, but here they are...

"Divergent is a captivating, fascinating book that kept me in constant suspense and was never short on surprise. It will be a long time before I quite thinking about this haunting vision of the future."  — James Dashner about Veronica Roth's "Divergent"

"The world of Unravel Me is terrifying and unique; its characters steam with passion, and Tahereh Mafi's bold, inventive prose crackles with raw emotion."  — Rasnom Riggs about Tahereh Mafi's "Unravel Me"

"The Graveyard Book is endlessly inventive, masterfully told, and, like Bod himself, too clever to fit into only one place. This is a book for everyone. You will love it to death."  — Holly Black about Neil Gaiman's "The Graveyard Book"

"The Mortal Instruments series is a story world that I love to live in. Beautiful."  — Stephenie Meyer about Cassandra Clare's "City of Bones"

"This kind of fun will never fail to delight."  — Phillip Pullman about Eva Ibbotson's "Monster Mission"

Complete list of T5Wlers! ^^
