Read-a-thon tbr
Because I really want to get that pile of started books out of the way and I didn't get to most of these in December I want to challenge this pile for Bout of Books. I hope I can manage it to finish some of these, so I can start a whole lot new books in the next month. ^^
- A Feast for Crows by George R. R. Martin (audiobook)
The Queen of the Tearling by Erika Johansen (audiobook)- Unter den drei Monden by Ewa A. (ebook)
- Herz aus Nacht und Schatten by Gesa Schwartz (printed)
Stardust by Neil Gaiman (printed)- Furthermore by Tahereh Mafi (printed)
- Miss Peregrine's Home for peculiar Children by Ransom Riggs (printed)
- Infinte by Jodi Meadows (printed) - (still a left over from 2015. Oops.)
If I finish all printed books or ebooks:
- Charing Cross by Christoph Marzi
- The Tales of Beedle the Bard by J.K. Rowling
- Across the Universe by Beth Revis
- Magnus Chase and The Hammer of Thor by Rick Riordan
- Das Frostmädchen by Stefanie Lasthaus
If I don't feel like reading a book I'm allowed to squeeze in a manga. XP
- Attack on Titan Vol. 10 by Hajime Isayama
- Blue Exorcist Vol. 11 by Kazue Kato
- Tokyo Ghoul Vol. 5 by Sui Ishida

Wrap up
It was so much fun again. I really love Bout of Books so much. It holds a special place in my heart. <3 I'm also quite pleased with what I archived throughout the read-a-thon. Never expected to finish "The Queen of the Tearling", but it was so good. A bit hard to get into at the beginning, because it wasn't what I had expected, but I really liked it in the end and I can't wait to start the second book.
Since I knew I would be able to read that much at the weekend (due to work) I tried to squeeze in as much reading time as possible between uni and studying. It worked quite well.
Also had some lovely comments on this post which I very much appreciated. I'm glad I was able to participate this round again and can't wait for the next one. ~<3
I started A Feast For Crows forever ago...going back and forth between audio and print...and then I haven't picked it back up in almost 2 years. I want to say I was 40% through it too :S
ReplyDeleteWell, it seems like I'll be doing the same. I just can't listen to it while I'm doing something, except I'm walking around. I really have to concentrate on it so much. I have the feeling that it's so hard to follow along otherwise. I feel like I'm stuck there forever. ;_; But well... sometime in the future both of us might finish it. ^^
DeleteHey there. Looks like you're making great progress. How are you finding The Queen of the Tearling? I haven't read it, but i noticed its on my bookclub list for this summer. :)
ReplyDeleteWell have a great rest of the week! :)

Hi, yeah I'm pretty pleased with what I reached so far. I'm glad that I was able to finish some of the 2016 leftovers.
DeleteI just finished The Queen of the Tearling and I quite liked it. It was very interesting to the the development of the main character. She changed a lot. I have to say it wasn't what I was expecting but got positively surprised. It's kind of a strange setting though. I had a bit of a hard time getting into it, but I think it could have been the audiobook format for this matter. I really had to focus on it without doing much aside.
Thank you, wish you a great rest of the week, too. ^^
Congrats on completing your readathon! Glad that you enjoyed the Queen of the Tearling!
