I was there to visit my sister. It wasn't really planned for last christmas, because of the lack of money, but Susan her hostmom asked if I wanted to visit them again for christmas and she even paid the flight. She's so damn' crazy!
So it came that I had to pack my bags, but bacause of so many school work I ended up with packing may bags at the 23rd of December and my flight was the next day at 06:55am. So we (my mom, my dad and I) had to get up at three o'clock, because we had to be two hours befor depature at the airport.
We arrived there at 04:47am.
Finally we arrived at the gate and then we got to know that the flight was canceled and that we have to be rebooked, if it's possible.
I think we waited a bit over an hour, because we were so early! Luckily I got a new flight but it was supposed to go at eleven o'clock.
My mom and I decided to wait at the airport, due to the weather. It was really snowy and we were affraid that we hadn't enough time for a trip home and back again. My dad decided to go home, because he was so tired.
Now I had to fly to Amsterdam, Memphis, Austin. My first flight was over Paris, Cicinett and then Austin.
After a nice breakfast with my mom and a very boring wait I was allowed to get to the airplain and bording started more or less at time, but the start was delayed.
I was kind of stressed out when we arrived in Amsterdam, because I had less than one hour to get my bording pass and ran through half the airport to get to the right gate. Plus my mobile phone wasn't working, because I forgot to activate the roaming. That was really annoying.
After a lot of questions and some nearly breakdowns I sat in the airplain to Memphis. After a seven hours flight I arrived there safely and had to get into the USA. That went faster as I thougt and I had a bit more time to calm down (because of my phone). After another securitycheck I went to my gate and waited there for the bording.
This was the first flight wich was really on time and I arrived safely in Austin. I hopped of the airplain and went through the airport to the luggage claim where my sister and her friend Angie were waiting.
After grabbing my luggage we went to her car and drove home. There were Susan and her parents waiting for aur arrival. There was a big welcome back and I hand over the small gifts from Germany. Also I had to hang up my stocking, wich I had to bring. Then we put the last christmas gift under the tree and went to bed.
The next morning started at eight o'clock, because we decided to start the gift giving at nine. After we finnished with dressing up we went down and the "Merry Christmas Greeting" started.
We sat down at the couch and started with the stockings. We got a lot of small and useful things, like some manicure sets. After that Susan was sharing out the gifts, wich had our names on it. I've go a lot of things, even though I said I don't want anything.
But my favourite gift was the one from my sister, a unicorn plushie! ♥
Well, after the gift giving and a lot of "Thank Yous" we had a nice breakfast with pancakes and scrambled eggs. After that Krissy, Angie and I had to went out, because the two had to look after a little cat from a friend. So we went there and feed her and played with her. That was fund and the little kitty is so über cute.♥
Then we went to Heike, another Au Pair. There the three exchanged presents and planned something for the week.
The next day was shopping day! krissy, Angie, Heike, Mareike and I went to the mall and spend nearly the hole day there, because the four girls couldn't decide what they wanted to buy. ^^ Well, after a lot of looking through so many things I didn't like I ended up with buying a dress. So I decided that's the christmas present from Joyce (grandma of the hostfamily), because she gave us 50$ for shopping as a gift.
After shopping we went home and had dinner. the three girls of us decided to watch a movie, but I can't remeber it. ^^;
The 27th of december started late at somthing around ten o'clock. We decided to visit the Capitol of Austin. So we had a short breakfast and drove to downtown.
After visiting the Capitol we met with Heike and went to the Cheescake Faktory for lunch! Well, my lunch was just a cheescake, because it's so yummy and after one piece you're so full you can't anything else. ^^ At the evening we watched some films again. I think we watched Robin Hood and The Timetraveler.
The next day we went to downtown again, because Krissy and Angie wanted to take a preview on their tattoo. After that we did a small sightseeingtour and looked for some postcards. We found some nice and the girls decided to buy some more Texas-tees. They are so crazy about Texas.
I think that was pretty much we did this day. Haha, not so much but, well.
At the 29th we did a daytrip to San Antonio. That was really cool, because we did the River Walk. We also visited the mall and spend there a lot of time, but still it was a really nice day. The wether was really good, something around 24 degrees. For me it was pretty hot. ^^ But my sis was still freezing.

Well, I can't really remember what did the other days. xD It's just to long ago! The one day we went to the Starbucks meeting of the girls, that was fun. And for new years eve we went to Saras hous to celebrate. Sara had to work so we decided to visit her, so that she'll not alone.
More or less that was all. The next day Krissy and Angie drove me to the airport, because I had to fly home. We did a last stop at starbucks and bought some frappochinos.
Finally we arrived at the airport and I got my tickets and then the big farawell started. But we had to finish it fast, because the both wanted to go downtown for their tattoo.
The flight back home was good and nothing went wrong. I arrived safely on the 2nd of January at home. The only thing that was bad was, that I cought a cold, because my sister was a bit ill. But all in all it was a week of pretty much fun. ^^
