『31 Days of Blogtober』09/07/2016 Harry Potter Warner Bros. Studio Tour London PART II

Outside of the atrium was a lot to discover again. The first thing I saw was the bust stop for the Knight Bus and the Knight Bus itself. So huge and in my favourite colour. So awesome to see it in person.

really like the statement in the brackets.

You couldn't enter the bus but you could risk a look inside it. So funny to see it, but looks quite comfortable.

Next was Privet Drive with its neat front garden and a neighbours house. Was a bit hard to get a perfect photo, because the sun was already setting.

The Potter's Cottage in Godric's Hollow was right next to it. A cute house with a not so perfect look to it. ^^

The Hogwarts Bridge was there too. A bit wonky here and there but all intakt and you could even walk over it. A bit of caution is needed there, because the floor is not even and you could possibly trip over the edge.

Again the motorbike and the Ford Anglia. It was possible to take photos inside them.

A few chess pieces are exhibited too. They are so tall and look really heavy. These are the original statues which were used and later animated.

The exhibition continued inside again and the first to discover was the creature shop. Which means you could see how the different creatures were created.

So funny too see heads, hands and plants all over the shelves. Even under the tables it was possible to discover a few more things. It really looked like the real working space which was just left to be.

After the creature shop came the Diagon Alley. This was one of the best to see. Everything is so big and looks so real. The green walls are the spaces where things got created on the computer, everything else got build.

It was a bit strange to walk through there with just a few people around. But also really nice too see everything and to discover all the details which you possibly can't see in the movies.

Went book shopping at Flourish & Blott's. Who doesn't need a few magical books?

Followed by a very lit and steril looking room we could discover some of the sketches for the productions.

A few of the concept arts where exhibited too. Some of the pictures are so pretty. I wish I could hang them on my wall.

I really like the Death Eater and the Thestral and a few more of the darker ones.

They even explained how the build the models and how the architecture worked.

I liked the Durmstrang ship the most and it's concept art too.

The second to last stop was a huge model of the Hogwarts Castle and it's grounds. This was the most beautiful and I got kind of emotional. It also was so beautifully lit and it created such a nice magical atmosphere.

Everything's so detailed and with the tiny lights in the windows it looks even more real.

Nearly at the end, right before the shop you could get the feeling of entering Olliwander's Wand Shop. Every label is hand painted, hand written and tea stained. There is no wand box like another, everything is one of a kind.
This also is the most honorable thing in the exhibition, because everyone who worked on the movies has a label on a wand's box.

I discovered a few names I know. Can you find them too?

Lastly a few impressions from the shop, which was like the biggest one I saw. It was stuffed with all kind of things.

The Funkos are so cute. I really want some. <3

Fell in love with this Hufflepuff mug, but I already have so many mugs. urgh... And I also really like the Triwizard Cup.

My favourite wand is the Death Eater Swirl one. It's just so pretty.

Finally everything I bought. Went a bit crazy at Honey Duke's~

I can only say, that if you're a fan of the Harry Potter books and the movies or just of one of those go visit the exhibition. It's really awesome and so impressive to see all the things they build for the movies and how realistic everything looks. I really enjoyed my time there and I can only encourage everyone to go there and relive their childhood.
And don't forget to plan enough time for your visit when you're like me and you need a lot of time plan the visit as a day trip, otherwise it could get stressful.
